teaching artist

Teaching has been a cornerstone throughout my entire life. Both sides of my family have a legacy of educators, with grandparents who were dedicated teachers. My initial venture into the professional world was as an English teacher. Concurrently, while pursuing my aspirations to become an actor, I found joy in teaching acting to children in public schools in São Paulo. As my acting career gained momentum, I transitioned to instructing actors and directors at renowned film schools such as Academia Internacional de Cinema and Inspiratorium in Brazil.

I also had the privilege of serving as an acting coach for the documentary “Cinema Morocco,” directed by Ricardo Calil. In the United States, I contributed as an assistant teacher alongside the late actor and acting coach Clark Middleton, known for his roles in “Twin Peaks” and “The Blacklist.”

To explore some of my work, you can enroll in my online course on Domestika.com. Use this link!

Furthermore, I am here to support you with auditions, self-tapes, speech, and public speaking through virtual lessons on Zoom or in-person sessions. Please feel free to reach out for information regarding fees and availability.

Acting Techniques for Effective Communication

reviews

I never take any acting class and have been thinking about it just to improve my communication skills. In this class, Ivo has been very clear in giving directions on how to do acting and to level up your communication technique. I think it's also great for the beginner who wants to learn acting. Awesome and inspiring course!
